Programs
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) was signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009 with profound intent to invigorate America’s economy by creating or saving jobs in areas that would strengthen our country's ability to thrive in the 21st century. Because ARRA includes measures to enhance energy independence, the Nevada State Office of Energy (NSOE) received $34,714,000 in funding and allocated that funding across the following market areas.
SEP ARRA Grants
- State Buildings
- Schools
- Street Lights & Traffic Signals
- Alternative Fuel Infrastructure
- Revolving Loans
- Engineering & Feasibility Study
- Energy Related Codes
ARRA Grants (not SEP)
EECBG Grants
- Cities & Counties
- Emergency Vehicle Idle Reduction
- Natural Gas & Electricity Monitoring
- Traffic Signals & Street Lighting
The NSOE continues to create and manage new programs and funding opportunities that will help the state of Nevada.
