DAVID BOBZIEN NAMES JENNIFER TAYLOR, ESQ. AS DEPUTY DIRECTOR FOR INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS FOR THE GOVERNOR’S OFFICE OF ENERGY

Carson City, NV - January 28, 2019

Director David Bobzien announced today that Jennifer Taylor, Esq. will be the new Deputy Director for Intergovernmental Relations for the Governor’s Office of Energy.

"Jennifer Taylor's work in law, policy, and advocacy across our state's environmental and energy landscape makes her an incredible asset to the Office of Energy. I am thrilled with this appointment and look forward to working with her and Director Bobzien on Nevada's renewable energy future," said Governor Steve Sisolak. 

Ms. Taylor served on the Committee on Energy Choice, and as Chair of that committee’s working group on Innovation and Technology in Renewable Energy Development.  She also sat as Vice Chair for the Clean Energy Sources Technical Advisory Committee of the New Energy Industry Task Force, and as a member of the City of Las Vegas’ City Manager’s Energy Advisory Committee. Jennifer served on the board of Nevada Conservation League from 2010 to 2013, and as board chair from 2011 to 2013. Jennifer has also worked as campaign manager for Congressman Steven Horsford, as the executive director of Clean Energy Project and as a consultant providing government and external affairs services to support clean energy development.
